Study on-the-spot in Chartres from 19 to 26 August, 2012



Chartres, located 96 km southwest of Paris on the left bank of Eure River, is famous for its 12th century Gothic cathedral. Its cathedral school promoted scholarship long before the first university was founded in France. It is a place full of vestiges of the medieval spirit.

Navette - route plan (pdf)
The "Navette" shuttle mini-bus is a vehicle available free to all, serving the parking and the shopping area from the inner city of Chartres. The service operates all year round, Monday to Saturday from 10.30 to 19.30 (no service on holidays). The shuttle serves 12 stops and runs about every 15 minutes.
